Public safety responders risk their lives every day so that others may live. Last night, the Helicopter EMS community experienced another tragic and fatal accident. It took several hours to get crews to the area of the crash. From police officers and firefighters to the first responder only equipped with basic skills, they were all there- working as a team powered by indomitable will- to save lives. In these professions, what they do is all about whom they do it for. It's for the mothers, the fathers, the sons and the daughters. Every single loved one who runs into life's uncertainties-for those whom tomorrow isn't guaranteed. 

This thread is to honor those who put others before their personal agenda and hierarchy. Their clients are the heart and driving force of why they do what they do.
